When your movie gets leaked online 1 month before it’s release date, it seems like you have it all to do. You really gotta hand it to Hugh Jackman and company for sticking through it and even fans who condemed the premature online release.
I read that the leaked copy contained many unedited scenes………..well this one is the finished product and it’s hot! Action packed with a light dash of emotions. X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells us how the Wolverine we know came to be, how those bone claws became coated with Adamantium and how he lost his memory.
However it doesn’t exactly follow the comic book version but then again with comic book movie adaptations these days, few really keep true to the books. Even Spiderman which kept 90% of the comic book origins storyline in it’s first 2 installments decided to drop that direction for it’s 3rd film.
None the less, this movie ties up very well with the first 2 Bryan Singer directed Xmen movies. Although I still can’t stand the Brett Ratner version for it’s “Last Stand” movie. They should remake that one. Thank goodness X-Men Origins: Wolverine is much better.
