On Sunday I hosted the RSAF Open house at Paya Laber Air base as the RSAF celebrated it’s 40th anniversary in style!
I spent most of the time at the static displays hosting to the passing crowd……among the things I did were hosting the arming display. Now this was pretty cool because the arming team had to fully arm an Aparche, F-16 and F-5 in a certain amount of time and crowd could take part by simply guessing how long they would take.
The prize was a very very very nice Hamilton watch……Woah!
On stage my co-host Kae In worked the crowd with fun and games. Dawn Yeoh also made an appearance and sang a few songs.
The big finish was the Ariel display over at the grand stand area! Of course big thanks to all the staff and crew for their help. Esp Shawn who doubled up as an English and Mandarin host.
That’s us messing ard in the back room. Did I mention there was alot of good food too! I had Ramly Burger…..hahaha!
I also met a listener, Daniel who was there handling the sound system……thanks for making the switch to Power 98 bro!
