I did a little bit of redecorating over the weekend. I ordered this Avengers Door poster and had it framed. Now usually these long posters called door posters are place behind the door, hence the name and they stand at about 1.6m tall.
I couldn’t resist this one because it’s got all the characters from The Avenger’s movie nicely spread out on a long landscape. I actually prefer this compared to the Theatrical Poster we see at cinema doors.
I had to borrow a power drill though because it is quite heavy including the frame but hey thanks to my friend Alvin, I’ve got this baby all set up! 2 hooks would be best to balance the weight on this 1.6m long frame.
For my other 2 poster frames, I normally change the posters ever month or couple of months just to freshen things up. For now I’ve decided to go with my Iron Man 2 IMAX poster and my Captain America July the 4th poster. I suppose this makes all the posters at my place unique cos these were only used in the U.S. and not locally.
Here’s another close up view of how this door poster looks like! It’s amazing, the best poster investment I’ve made.
Well if you would like to get your hands on it then head down to Esplanade to check out this shop called POPCORNPOP or you could check out their website here.
I’ve bought all sorts of movie memorabilia from them like posters and Chirashi, which are Japanese movie leaflets you can get before you actually watch the movie only available in Japan but they bring them in for sale. Perhaps next time I’ll show you my collection. I actually once displayed them entirely across my wall like a big wall of Chirashi, that was quite fun!
