I wasn’t to sure if I wanted to get this when it first appeared for pre-order last year but I decided what the heck. Considering I already have the Mark II from the first movie, this was supposed to be a stripped apart or armour unleashed version that was featured in the 2nd film.
So then earlier this year, Hot Toys revealed that it would come with a table – the one that was featured in the movie when the armour had been stripped down to be weaponized by Justin Hammer and would eventually become War Machine.
So then this made perfect sense to get this replica that I could set up my own workshop diorama giving my displays a very “Hall of Armours” feel to it.
As you can see that’s just what I did and I even included some other accessories from other Iron Man replicas since it’s a workshop table.
If that’s not quite your style then you can display it with the Hall of Armour LED base that comes with the figure. It makes a pretty mean piece either way you choose to display.
And of course this was a more unique design of the packaging compared to the previous Iron Man 2 movie replicas, which is a nice touch if you wanna display just the box alone.
