I got poisoned by Amazon recently. Apparently because I’m on the J.A.G Facebook fanpage, they sent me updates that the series dvd was on sale on Amazon so per season it would cos between 13 to 22 bucks. Quite good right?
Well I went on Amazon and decided to check how much it would cost for the entire series (10 seasons) and it turns out it was quite a steal so I clicked “add to cart”
OMG, all 10 seasons of my absolute favorite legal drama series from the late 90s and early 2000s……and it finally arrived!! Woo Hoo!
I must admit that it would have been nice if there was like a nicer box for it but hey with the bargin price I got for these brand new DVDs, I’ll make my own box!
The show was broadcast in 4:3 aspect ratio for most of the first 5 seasons, but it eventually does move to widescreen format. So you get some episodes in 4:3 and some in 16:9. The quality of the video is good and it looks nice on an up-converted 1080p LCD screen. The audio is encoded as Dolby Digital, so all of the surround features are carried over.
In the words of a friend of mine who recently purchased the entire 24 series box set…..”Let the marathon begin”
