The latest edition to my toy collection comes with much hype. Hot Toys Dark Knight DX02 arrived in Singapore sometime mid Feb but because many people made pre-orders I had to wait for the 2nd shipment to arrive in the last week of Feb since I only made my pre-order for the 2nd batch.

Finding a place to display it was kinda hard actually, I didn’t realise that my shelves were all taken up by either toys or DVDs. The key for me is that it’s gotta be neat so after much rearrangement, I figured it out.

Right on top of the CD and DVD shelf should fit just fine with the Tumbler and the lava lamp. The blue gliter works nice against the 3 batarangs that the DX02 comes with.

And so this completes my collection till the next 2 editions come in, Ironman Mark 4 and War Machine. Although I think it’ll be a while before Hot Toys releases them.

No rearrangements for a few months I hope, but hey I remember the little corner that started it all………

18 days passed just like that. Much hype about it, even a video produced and tagged with all his friends on facebook in anticipation of it all. And just like that, it’s all passed.

So what kind of a trip was it? A reality check if you ask me. Many spoke and built up their own hype about how much they wanted to be a part of it, how they would make time for it, how they couldn’t wait to share a good laugh over it………………so how many did?

As a friend, what was most disappointing for me was even on it’s last day, even with a simple gesture no real effort was made. Honestly who cared? Who cares………yeah you’re right, who cares…..we’ve all moved on to do our own things and concentrate on our own lives, why should any make any effort.

Well you could reply a f**king sms you know! Or you could say NO Thanks I’m busy. But you just………didn’t. And of course we have the pretenders who pretend to put in effot but really, don’t be a fraud.

This is all a pointless rant………..not for my sake and not about me………..but I think you outta know how he felt.

For every guy who wants to be like George Clooney when they turn 50, then watch this film. This guy is so charismatic, charming and he has this amazing speaking voice……….damn I’m telling you I’m a DJ and I wish I had his voice.

This story is about a man who gets paid to fire people in different organisations around America, he’s got a number he wants to reach in terms of air travel milage and he doesn’t want to settle down.

His home is the airport cos he doesn’t like to travel. Odd lifestyle for those who love their home……..like me. I gotta say though, this si one of those films that doesn’t quite have a conclusion except to say…….THATS LIFE!

Ladies, your favorite actor George Clooney is in it so I don’t need to give you any other reason to catch the film.

The movie has done pretty well even though many compared it to Harry Potter and well fans were split down the middle. Percy Jackson and the lightning thief did well enough for a sequel to be in the works. Percy Jackson and the sea of monsters is set for release in 2012.

I prefer this one……….yeah I know Harry Potter fans are gonna hate me but but…….they talk less lah……..ahhahahaha! Not as draggy was a winner for me so if you’re out late looking for a movie to catch then this should be right up your alley.

For those you are into greek myths……erm this movie is totally off, doesn’t follow watsoever…….leave your brain at the door except when Uma Thurman comes out. Greek myth fans, wait for Clash of the Titans instead.

The yearly Valentines day movie was simply titled Valentines day. And it’s somewhat has the whole “Love actually” feel to it, it fact you might even think it’s some sort of sequel but its not. Let’s just recap alittle and remember, Love actually was very much British.

This one is an American tale.

Great cast featuring my all time favorite women, Jessica Alba (Why did she have to be a bitch in this film), Jessica Biel (Haha One of the funniest performances), Anne Hathaway (I wish I could be on the phone with her), Jennifer Garner (If you let me choose, I will choose her) and Taylor Swift (Well  she brought new meaning to “Dumb Blonde”)

Simple words, if you haven’t caught Valentines Day then go do it………you’ll love how all the stories somehow manage to tie up.

I kinda had to keep this underwraps till the magazine actually came out……..hahaha! But yes, I’m one of Cleo Magazine’s 50 most eligible bachelors this year. Lucky Number 8 in fact and it’s in the March issue of Cleo Magazine.

High Ceilings make me think huge castles! Hahaha just a random thought I had while i was at Resorts World Sentosa for the Boys like Girls concert.

Managed to snap some pictures while taking a fast walk to the compass ballroom cos me and Jensen were running late to host the concert, so here’s what i got.

Coming of bus number RWS8, this is what you see at the basement 2 carpark. Huge sign saying CASINO! Pretty cool huh!

I think that day they were letting their staff try out the Casino’s so they would have a better feel and understanding about the place for when the bulk of guests come from around the world.

Lots more CASINO signs……actually i kinda felt broke walking around. I mean just imagine the potential disaster amount of money you could lose if things go wrong for you.

Oh this was one of my fave parts, going up the escalator they have this sort of light show with music……..feels like you’re going into some spaceship from a movie.

A touch of Egypt? hahahahahaha! Weird statues everywhere!

Ok ok our search for the Compass ballroom somehow managed to land us outside the much talked about Victoria Secrets! Erm, I was kinda hoping it would be bigger…..

Models la…….it needs models!

More tall ceilings and walkways as the 2 lost boys still try to find their way to the Compass ballroom!

This was along the Victoria Secrets stretch, where the shopping area was.

And finally we arrive to see a packed crowd waiting to go in for the Boys like Girls concert!

This was the roof of the ballroom while the crowd was entering…….pretty nice lighting!

I know I’m a little late to get on this but with my Xbox out of action for almost 6 months I finally got round to getting it fixed during the Christmas season last year and now i’m back on it full time.

Now one of the games I deeply regret not playing sooner is Batman Arkham Asylum! But but there are plenty of positives to take from this cos the sequel will be out sometime this year so I don’t have to wait as long as you, if you were on it before me that is…….hahaha!

Serious stuff now, I’m not here to talk to you about the game but the special collectors edition I bought! Hahahaha It comes with a Baterang replica like the one form the game. What does it do? Absoloutely nothing…………..but hey it looks cool!

The packaging is pretty sweet too although not as cool as the PS3 version which comes in a mental bat shaped case. None the less, I’m a sucker for collectibles and this is the latest one to hit my TV top.

By the way…….the game is great! But ya you already knew that…….I’m the one whos late remember? Wonder what kind of collectibles will be installed for the sequel.

This post is a little late but it’s been at number 1 since it’s opening and it’s smashed all records. James Cameron’s return to the big screen as master director creating a whole new world that critics described as the next Starwars.

I caught it twice, once just on a regular screen and the other in 3D……..which gave me a headache, probably cos it was too awesome my neck kept turning all around. Yeah I do stupid things like that once in a while. Since most of the world has already caught it I’ll just talk about how James Cameron films seem to touch on the power of love.

I mean think about it, Terminator was about a mother’s love for her son, Titanic was the love between Jack and Rose and now the love between Aliens or blue smurfs in space. Gotta hand it to Cameron for discovering Sam Worthington.

He recomended the actor to McG for Terminator Salvation, then he stars in Avatar and up next Clash of the Titans. This is guy is my favorite actor at the moment, all action all guts!

3rd time talking to the band and 2nd time meeting them in person. Boys like Girls made history by being the first band to perform at Resorts World Sentosa! And what a rocking hot packed concert it was.

Of course before the show got on it was work for me and Jensen as we were the supporting radio station for the band’s first ever concert in Singapore brought to you by Hype Records. The band touched down in Singapore in the afternoon for their packed schedule. They came by in the evening to Resorts World for a quick interview with us followed by a meet and greet session.

After that it was show time as the band prepared to go on stage at the Compass Ballroom to rock the house down, me and Jensen had the opportunity of opening for them with some fun and games.

Prizes from Starhub and autograph posters were up for grabs for the mad fans!

It was quite an experience being in front of such a massive crowd made up of fans from around the world. There was one point the organizers asked me to go into the crowd while Jensen orchestrated the game on stage and i had 2 bodyguards escort me in…….WOAH!

As I was coming out of the crowd I saw Ken Lim from Hype Records and I said to him “So this is what being a superstar feels like”……..and he laughed.

Great concert, nice meeting the band again and of course I got to go to Resorts World Sentosa! Woot!
