On Friday it was the first and it was called the Roar party! With the crowd dressed up in red or gold, just our way of welcoming the year of the Tiger!

The usual stage games with fantastic prizes up for grabs for the full house of Power98 listeners!

And the playfulness of Jensen and me as we got as many people as possible to pose for a picture before we started our segment. The people in the pic below double at some point cos we refused to get on with it will more women joined us.

What a way to finish of the first month of the year…..btw how has it been for you? I love 2010 man, it’s been fantastic so far and with any luck, it can only get better!

I need a bigger room or a whole damn house if possible……hahaha! Upgrades to the Heroes corner were made yesterday with my new purchase…….the Batpod! Woo Hoo finally this IS the perfect addiciton.

Most people would go for the Hot toys version which would probably set you back about $350 bucks or so, I know I wanted to but I’ve got a space issue………that and the fact that it was sold out, haha!

So what we’ve got is still a replica version but a smaller scale. The price is pretty good too…….just $79 bucks is not too bad.

Although smaller, it looks just as good as the Hot toys version and it’s alot easier to display. Especially if your tight on space.

Now as you can see from the pic above, it’s a bout the length of my Mac, which is about 13 inches i think, so it gets to be between my Mac and the 24 inch LCD……woot! Now I can pretend to be Batman once in a while….haha!

Modifications done to the Heroes corner and with the main centre piece being that Captain America Shield or for some of you the LCD screen……haha whatever rocks your socks mate!

Rest assured I haven’t forgotten my mission to complete my Hall of Armours. As you can see, I’ve already sorted out the shelves for it so now I’m just waiting for Hot toys to release the Mark 4 and War Machine. I’m still undecided on getting the mark 1 though…….the temptation of a PS3 is just so much greater.

Love really is one of the most complicated things in this world. Can’t live with it, can’t live without it…..heck we all need it. But you know I can never understand the love that us men have with a football club. Really it’s more successful that a marriage if you think about it.

When your club frustrates you, loses or plays badly you complain, curse, threaten never to watch them again. Ya right……the following weekend your back in front of the tube getting yourself all worked up over their playing style. You stick with them through thick and thin.

I was just talking to a friend on msn the other day and she was telling me how frustrated she was about Man Utd. What happened to them this season? Why so bad? Yet……..she loves them, shes practically married to them I said. Hey it’s the same with me………I’m pissed off! With players leaving, lame remarks being made to our neighbours City and all that crap accept the lethal football we used to play.

We sold our best player, never got him replaced, handed the sacred No. 7 to a has been and the average of the squad went up. Old timer captain talking too much and other old timers burning out giving their all.

In the end, what to do…….I took an oath………..United till I die.

Hahaha, see what I mean……..football is more successful than marriage.

I’ve been on leave!……..Wooooo…………sorry, never go on air, pai seh ah, DJ must also relac! hahahah! You know what, I am super back dated.

My friend Ming lent me all the seasons of House on dvd and I’ve totally been missing out. I mean I’ve caught some episodes on the tube here and there but I’ve never made the effort to sit through the whole season. So during my leave, I did………damn I’ve been missing out!

I love the dialogue and all that sarcastic humor! It’s perfect, he’s an asshole but he’s always right! A classic line for me was when his ex told him “House you are the one, you always have been. The most annoying thing about you is that you always think you’re right yet the thing about you is………you always ARE right”

What a dude man, he just doesn’t give a shit yet he saves lives. I love it man, wish I had made the effort to watch it sooner………well the great catch up is on, now on season 3……..I’ll get there people, haha!

Another line I love from Dr Wilson “House you think being miserable makes you better, well being miserable doesn’t make you better than other people, it just makes you miserable”

During my time as a DJ, I’ve had the opportunity to rub shoulders with the stars………..I think that’s one of the best perks of the job, just meeting these famous people.

So I was sitting around thinking about some of the stars I’ve met over the past year or so. Seeing has how this year we have the likes of Muse, The Killers, Paramore and Green day coming down to Singapore.

Boys like Girls, they were in town for a showcase and they will be back at the end of the month for a concert at Resorts World Sentosa……….man can you believe that place is more or less completed and ready for launch on 20 Jan.

Lifehouse was in town for the first ever concert in Singapore. Hard to believe considering the band has been around for ages but it was great meeting the guys and watching them perform. They sound exactly the same live and in their albums.

David Archeleta, the young dude who came in runner up on American Idol…………all I can say is he’s still a boy, nice guy and his fan base is only going to grow.

Now we’re talking…………..these guys are legends man! Michael Learns to Rock! One of the bands that made me start listening to music. I remember the song that got me hooked was 25 minutes.

Footy fans, I got to meet Joe Morrison a few times last year but none was more fun than when he was a guest star on “On The Ball”.

Well these guys make a pretty good interview. Raygun popped by Singapore twice and we managed to get them on air for an interview and even featured them on the Acoustic Lounge.

 Ah yes……more legends………the Backstreet Boys! They will be back in Singapore for a full concert but they were in town last year for the Singapore GP and I had the chance to do a quick interview with them. I caught the concert and I gotta say they still got the moves.

Sweet Marie Digby, my second time meeting her and shes still the same sweet humble artist…………..and I got a hug this time……….Woot!

She’s the latest chic I got to meet toward the tail end of the year. Lenka was in town for a concert and she also came into the studios for an interview. I remember she had travelled to more than 10 countries in the last quarter of the year alone………….shes sweet and I enjoyed that interview.
