It hurts, feeling down and dejected. Losing is one thing but losing under these circumstances. I was hoping for a brilliant final, a big show of the 2 top teams featuring the 2 top players in the world……….a true face off between champions. One from England and the other from Spain.

Well the English league representatives didn’t turn up, their manager got sentimental and now their fans face the brunt of fans of other English league representatives………..sucks doesn’t it.

Barcelone entertained with brilliant football, sportsmanship and passion on display that completely represents the beauty of this sport. United on the other hand didn’t turn up (I say again) Why? at such a big stage did their manager get sentimental and play his old warhorse instead of his young destroyers needed to put in that much needed grit into the game.

Against a team of so much pace, why were his passionate warriors played out of position……even passion can die off if you know your playing bad or worse, out of position.

Why did you do it Fergie? Why did you talk so much and so big before the match Patrice? And where were you Mr 42 goals Ronaldo? Real is quite a distance away from Rome you know.

None the less, thank you Fergie for accepting defeat on our behalf so graciously by saying “The better team won” Could you have perhaps prevented it…………..perhaps yes but it’s ok, heck you gave us so much celebrations in your 20 years in charge. Time to suck it in Utd fans and accept defeat graciously.

After all………The better team won.

This film can be described in one word………..LOUD.

No kidding, I went in looking forward to a revolution of sorts with this new Terminator project, one of my fave actors Christian Bale staring as John Connor couldn’t be more perfect. What I got was not really what I expected.

The setting was very much a Mad Max sort of film which was somewhat realistic in the post Judgement day era so that part went well for me. Good Job on setting.

Next we look at Terminators. The robots didn’t disappoint as there were many different kinds to watch out for which would turn up from time to time to scare you.

What disappointed however were the characters. There were quite a few main ones but none had real character development. In this film, John Connor hasn’t quite become the leader that the previous Terminators claimed he would be…………..which is great because this leaves room for that to happen in the later films. Still I felt an aspect of his emotions missing from this film, perhaps because Christian Bale spent alot of time shouting and fighting in this film.

Great set up for a sequel but hopefully more emotion will be put into the next one. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the movie…….pure action is something I hold dear to my heart. Still considering Terminator 2: Judgement Day was the masterpiece of all films……..someone’s gotta overthrow it soon right, or is the only way for that to happen with the return of James Cameron? Who knows…..

Overall, this film has got lots of explotions (hence the LOUD comment earlier) fight scenes and one bright spark in the form of Anton Yelchen who plays Kyle Reese.

This is insane…….I heard about this a while ago from a friend of mine. Then earlier this week he directed me to a website with updates on a life sized Gundam RX-78 being built in Odaiba Island, Japan and is expected to be ready by July.

Holy crap now I wanna go Japan just to see this life sized Gundam. Look at it……….all it needs is like a power source, operating system and I’m gonna pilot it away! Arghhhhhhhh I want one for Christmas!

This is how it’s supposed to look like when it’s completed but judging from the linings being made and the amount of detail being put into it, I think it will look even better. Just wondering what the final look will be………will it be made to look brand new or abit dirty like it’s been in the field before.

Changing gears abit, did your favourite American Idol win? I was rooting for the underdog Kris Allen although due respect to Adam Lambert, he has every quality deserving of a champion.

What a finale yeah, from the likes of Black eye peas performing……….oh Fergie! And legends like Lionel Richie, Rod Steward, Kiss and Queen all coming out to rock the stage. And of course Kara Dioguardi…….that girl works out!

In the end it was the family guy Kris who won. The dramatic Adam well………..I don’t think it’s the last we have seen of him. In fact something tells me his album sales just might outdo Kris’s. Can’t wait for them to release their debut albums, hopefully some air play too.

Ben Stiller returns as Larry Daley but this time he’s no longer the night guard. He’s moved on to bigger things and is now the CEO of Daley Devices. But he isn’t quite happy with the current life he has and decides to pay a visit to his old friends.

At the museum, things aren’t quite the same either as many of the exhibits will be shipped out for storage and the museum renovated to incorporate more hi tech displays.

Larry decides to go after and safe them in just the adventure he needs to fill the void that’s been missing all these years.

Overall I found this to be a very nice, light hearted movie. It had it’s meaningful points and of course funny parts too. The one person who really stood out for me was Amy Adams who played Amelia Earhart. She not only resembled the real person but she also brought a certain charm to the film, the way she always does.

See the resemblance? If you’re up for a nice comedy this weekend, you can bet on Night at the museum 2 to bring on the laughs.

As predicted on-air, the Red Devils went for the draw and took their 18th League title, now equaling Liverpool’s total league title count of 18.

Liverpool still the most successful English club in history with 18 League titles and 5 Champions League titles. Manchester Uniter behind with 18 League titles and 3 Champions League triumphs.

With one game to spare against Hull City this weekend……..or perhaps Fergie will do Shearer a favour and whack Hull so Newcastle will stay in the EPL if they at least draw with Aston Villa. United next travel to Rome after that for the Champions League final against Barcelona.

It’s gonna be a tough game but it will be good. Young Pep Guardiola who could lead his Barca side to a first ever Treble by a Spanish team. That would certainly be an amazing achievement in his first season in charge.

May 27th is the date history will be made. A first ever Treble by a Spanish team or a first ever side to retain the Champions League title in consecutive years. Honestly……….I’m anxious man, I was on my knees praying during the penalty shoot out last year.

I found some old photos from about 5 mths ago……….woooo I’ve been looking for these. They are from my outdoor broadcast at Temasek Polytechnic’s open house in Jan 09. The broadcast was held at the office next to the school of Design.

Fendy was the tech for the day but it seems he wanted to be some rock singer instead.

It was nice being back at my old school this time doing a live broadcast as a DJ. Damn it’s been like 6 years since I graduated. So much has changed.

There you go, the rock star wannabe. Anywayz I’m glad I found these pics. Actually come to think of it, it was my first outdoor broadcast on my own. Usually I’m like helping out or something……….how cool that it was like a home coming at the same time.

I attended the wedding of my friend Michella over the weekend, congratulations by the way………you looked gorgeous and happy and I wish you all the best in your next phase of life!

I was seated with a bunch of my old mates from school, in fact I think we were all project group mates……..gosh I can’t remember, I’m only certain that we were in the same class in year 2 back in TP (cos we changed classes every year).

You know what I noticed…………somethings never change! Hahahaha!

Wenkai still makes funny faces in a photo, Basil is still Mr cool, Cindy looks the same from 6 years before……everlasting youth I think and lastly Tissa still looks emo in photos……..hahahahhaa!

Was great catching up and it’s good to know everyone landed on their feet after graduation! As Cindy would put it………..till the next wedding guys!

Here’s a film for Trekkies and non-trekkies. Come on, I know some of you Star Wars fans were tempted and went to watch this movie.

Truth is, it’s a good movie. Nicely played out by JJ Abrams. The more I pondered over the movie, the more I realised that this wasn’t really an origins story or a re-make. For those hard core fans, just think about it for one moment………..this movie is an alternate reality version of the original.

Some might not be so happy with certain turn of events during the film…………….I’m not gonna spoil it. But really for me, the only logical explaination is that this is an alternate reality of the original Kirk and Spock.

The cast is great, bringing alot of freshness to this update. I even like how they don’t try to replicate their predecessors in terms of charactor and personality. Take for example Kirk, hes more cocky and punk but he retains the ladies man approach.

The new Spock isn’t as emotionless, in fact his eyes show more emotion and confusion within the half vulcan, half human. Overall it’s a great film and one you don’t want to miss out on as we enter summer blockbuster season.
