I’ve brought this up on air just 2 days ago, hollywood producers are set to reboot the Tomb Raider movie franchise for a third installment but this time without Angelina Jolie….Oh Nooooo….who could possibly replace her?
Fear not fan boys because Megan Fox was set to fill Angelina’s boots! Well it makes sense I suppose, similar looks, dark hair, even tattoos………sure these two actresses have similarities and Megan would be great as a younger Lara Croft.
Unfortunately again, it was announced yesterday by Fox’s representatives that she will not be taking over the role as Lara Croft as she did not want to be the next Angelina Jolie. Oh well, we can still catch her in Transformers: Revenge of the fallen this July. And we wait eagerly on who will fill the boots left vacant by Angelina Jolie.
Oh another note, I chanced upon this funny video online. It shows Batman playing the latest “Mortal Kombat vs DC” game and he doesn’t do too well.
Hey hey, Gong Xi Fa Cai to one and all! I managed to take some time off for a quick update. Us at Safra Radio had our own Lo Hei session on Friday, just before the super long weekend, which has been good by the way.
Lo Hei for good luck, make lots of noise and lift the raw fish as high as possible…..heck make a mess, it’s the new year!
Ushering the year of the Ox also saw some kung Fu performances…..hahaha, nice poses guys!
All staff members were given oranges and a red packet for good luck but the condition was that you have to receive it wearing something red. So we all wore red……..what happened to those who didnt?
As sound engineer Ian found out, he got to wear a nice read scaf over his head……for luck mah! lol! I had a rushed one…..had to take a run cos it was almost time to go on air.
All in all it was good fun, great food and everyone left with a smile which is one of the ingredients needed for a good start to the new year.
I’ve been away for a while, had some things to sort out plus work and then I took a break. But I’m back fully recharged and feeling good!
I didn’t go anywhere out of Singapore while I was away but I did some sightseeing in our very own Singapore. Hahaha I know it sounds funny but you know there are some really amazing places to live in Singapore……….makes you wanna just drop everything and look for your dream house….hahaha!
But hey money is always a problem right? I mean like cost of rent, utilities and what not…..but then again you never know. The financial situation is so fragile right now that property might dip soon. We have to wait and see.
So back to my leave, I did alot of photo arrangements, sorting out my pictures and I found 2 that I thought were pretty nice, never posted them here too.
This one is Harry’s birthday celebration in the studio and the one above is taken at the makan corner with Youyi while she was still at 88.3fm. That was one of our regular “coffee dates” during our 2 to 5pm on-air slot.
Oh yes, I was just doing some surffing online and found the latest promo pic for the movie X-Men origins: Wolverine!
Definately full marks in the cool factor department. Hopefully the movie is good……..till May 09, we’ll just have to wait!
Based on the book by Cornelia Funke, “Inkheart” is an adventure tale that centers on Meggie, a young girl whose father has a secret ability to bring characters from books to life when he reads them aloud.
But when a power-hungry villain from a children’s fable kidnaps Meggie’s father to bring others out of the boundaries of fiction, she and a disparate group of friends both real and magic embark on the kind of adventure she has only read about in books to save him and set things right.
Heavy on cliches and light on charm, this kid-lit fantasy-adventure doesn’t quite get off the ground.
“Rachel Getting Married” is a contemporary drama with a sense of humor about the return of an estranged daughter to the family home for her sister’s wedding.
Kym’s (Anne Hathaway) return brings a feeling of confusion into the family, forcing long-simmering tensions to surface in ways both hilarious and heartbreaking. The cast of “Rachel Getting Married” paints a colorful family portrait with each character played to perfection.
Engrossing tale of family angst, highlighted by Hathaway’s powerful performance.
Take all of your wasted honor
Every little past frustration
Take all of your so-called problems
Better put them in quotations
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Walking like a one man army
Fighting with the shadows in your head
Living out the same old moment
Knowing you’d be better off instead
If you could only
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Have no fear for giving in
Have no fear for giving over
You better know that in the end
It’s better to say too much
Than never to say what you need to say again
Even if your hands are shaking
And your faith is broken
Even as the eyes are closing
Do it with a heart wide open
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to
Say what you need to
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
